Weekly Top 10 : Summer Bags.
Sorry about the long hiatus here, I just had so much going on. It was horrible. But here we are in summer, we go to the beach, we are relaxed, we go shopping, and one of the things we more desperately need is a bag. A medium to large sized bag to tote around all of your goodies. It’s all about simplicity, functionality, and most of all looking chic. So here we are with a top ten list.
1. The Deux Lux Zipper Seamed Bag at Urban Outfitters, $49
This great bag is great for summer with it’s satchel style, and elegant yet relaxed design, it is a perfect pick for summer shopping. Available in Cream, Light Teal, Black, and Brown.
2. Deena & Ozzy Quilted Tote at Urban Outfitters, $58
Personally, this is one of the chicest ways to add a classic yet relaxed and simple vibe to an outfit. It’s simplicity, and straightforwardness speaks volumes of relaxation.
3. Melie Bianco Diagonal Stitch Tote at Piperlime, $79
One of the hottest summer trends is sequins. Of you don’t prefer sequins and still want to add the same level of glamour go for this tote with pleated detail. Available in, Pewter, and Gold.
4. The Cordoba Tote at Banana Republic, $198
This tote is not prized (in my opinion) for it’s trend accordance, or it’s features (except for gold plated hardware), but because it is a clean slate to add to a vibrant outfit, or even to add more to the bag itself. It’s classic style is amazing, and I have to have one. Accesorize this bag, with a long necklace, or opt for a classic scarf around the handle look.
5. Katia Striped Hobo at Forever21, $16.80
There is only one way to add even more relaxation into summer, go boho. Its perfect. This striped print hobo, is a great way to add a natural vintagey feel to a relaxed outift. This bag, with a White Tank and some wide-led denim is a great way to optimize the style of this bag.
6. Isobel Patent Trim Tote at Forever21, $29
For those that like to go elegant a ete. this is the perfect way to do it. This bag uses an innovative shape, while using two leathers. Patent and a cream pebble leather. This bag is an all year round bag, classic enough for fall/winter, but still luxuriously relaxed for summer.
7. Girodeon Tote at Aldo Shoes, $32
One of the most prominent handbag trends (that I have seen) is Belted Bags. Hasn’t everyone seen them. They come in every shape and size. Hello! Buy one! This bag is great to tote around during errands, for travel, or even to the beach.
8. Mustard Lily Bag by Dolce&Gabbana at MyWardrobe, $676
This modern and somewhat edgy bag, is perfect for summer, with a rich mustard color. It represents a lot warm, rich, luxurious relaxation in to summer time. It’s amazing.
9. Interaccio Tote by Bottega Veneta at NetAPorter, $3680
Ok, so I know that you want to slap me right now because of the price, but lets get real here. We as lovers of fashion, must realize that we need to invest in peices that will last a long time, and that we can use over, and over again. Investing costs, but this is clearly worth it. 10. Chanel Shopping Tote at Chanel, $1073
Is this actually a question? When I went to the Chanel store on 5th Ave. I saw this bag, and went absolutely bananas, and I mean bananas. They let me hold it (thank god), and then I asked for it, and I almost got it. Thats my little story of a Chanel dream come true (nearly). But anyway. This trompe d’oeil bag is perfect for summer. And the way, that means trick-of-the eye. Haha. But anyhow. I think all of the Admins of Future Leaders of Fashion, have used in a set. I just have to have it. Is that proper grammar?
